Enclara Pharmacia Expands Board of Directors

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Enclara Pharmacia (Enclara), the market leader in comprehensive pharmacy management services to the hospice industry, and its affiliate Turn-Key Health, an end-of-life population health management company, today announced the appointment of Tom Maxwell, an experienced professional with specialized expertise in homecare and hospice technology and a commitment to the healthcare community, to its Board of Directors (BOD). Most recently, Maxwell held the position of Chief Strategy Officer and chair of the Clinical and Financial Advisory Boards at Homecare Homebase, the industry’s leading electronic medical record (EMR). Tom also held the title of Chief Operations Officer at Homecare Homebase for seven years. He was formerly director of Customer Services for the Ambulatory Physician Office and Electronic Medical records at GE Healthcare, and vice president of Implementation and Customer Services for Millbrook/GE Healthcare.

Maxwell studied Management Information Systems, with Special Recognition, at Park University, while serving as a Navy Fleet Marine Force Hospital Corpsman where he was awarded two Navy Accommodation Medals, three Navy Achievement Medals, one Army Achievement Medal and the National Defense Medal. Also, he served as on the Board of Directors for the Trophy Club Wounded Warriors Association and continues to be an advocate for many of the wounded warriors programs throughout the country.

He also served as a technical advisor to the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation technology workgroup, an active member of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) Homecare Technology Association, and author of many publications, presentations and articles focused on technology and healthcare.

  • Benjamin Edmands, managing partner and co-founder of Consonance Capital Partners (CCP), previously served as a managing director at JPMP, where he co-led the Healthcare Group. He has served on numerous corporate boards in the healthcare industry.
  • Nancy-Ann DeParle, partner and co-founder of Consonance Capital Partners. Currently serves on the board of directors of several, high profile public companies in the healthcare industry. Prior to CCP, she was assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the White House and served as counselor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Health Reform.
  • Vickie Capps, member of the Consonance Capital Partners Senior Advisory Board, was most recently the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of DJO Global, Inc. She holds a seat on the board of directors of several, high profile public companies in the healthcare industry.
