Hopeworks ‘N Camden stays bringing the hackathons to (duh) Camden.

A year after hosting Camden’s first hackathon, the nonprofit is hosting another Camden Code Dayon Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It plans to teach Camden youth how to use programs including Github, Javascript and PHP. (The organization is also looking for volunteers to help out at the event.)

Located at the Camden CoLab coworking space, the event will also provide coding workshops at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Although Hopeworks is targeted toward youth, Camden Code Day invites everyone six years old and up to participate.
