Josh Quinter and Karin Corbett

As Offit Kurman establishes a new office location in Plymouth Meeting, adjacent to Pennsylvania’s largest interchange in suburban Philadelphia, the firm is pleased to announce its affiliation with Joshua Quinter and Karin Corbett. Mr. Quinter, a prominent regional construction law attorney, and Ms. Corbett bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm.

Mr. Quinter focuses his practice on construction law. He provides a wide array of services, including business planning, contract negotiation and project consulting, and risk management and litigation work. Listed in Pennsylvania as Super Lawyer, a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” and a “Rising Star,” he has earned recognition as a go-to attorney for all players in the construction industry involved in private or public projects.

Mr. Quinter has extensive experience handling complex construction cases involving payment issues, defect and delay claims, and indemnification and insurance issues. He has also successfully obtained verdicts and rulings for his construction clients in cases involving various other contract claims, liens, surety bonds, and personal injury claims resulting from construction site accidents. In addition, Mr. Quinter possesses extensive experience litigating administrative issues before OSHA and the Department of Labor, as well as a background in other commercial cases, insurance coverage and bad faith issues, unemployment compensation benefits, and employment law. His experience includes mediation, arbitration, and litigation; but he spends a great deal of time advising his clients on how to avoid expensive and risky litigation.

A member of various trade and business organizations, Mr. Quinter has been published in national, regional, and local publications, and he was the previous managing editor of a well-read construction law blog. He is currently developing a new construction law blog to offer expertise and musings on all things construction, in short order. A former collegiate and professional soccer player, he has served as chairman of the William & Mary Men’s Soccer 12th Man Club. He is also active in various political organizations, and has previously campaigned for Congress.

“Our Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware offices provide a full range of litigation representation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and mediation in a wide variety of subject matters, and is highly respected by the judiciary in all of those jurisdictions, in addition to Maryland where the firm was founded over 25 years ago”, said Herb Fineburg, one of the firm’s co-managing partner’s for the Philadelphia regional offices.

“Josh is a construction litigator without equal,” said Timothy Lynch, Managing Partner of Offit Kurman. “He is the ideal attorney to help us launch our new office in the Philly suburbs, and all of us at Offit Kurman, from New York to Maryland to Virginia, look forward to working together with him in the years to come.”
