Legal marketing strategist will discuss social media best practices for attorneys

During the program, Powers will provide insights on how attorneys and law firms can optimize social media strategy to their business objectives. She will present a new program exploring, in detail, what lawyers and law firms need to know about the use of LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the do’s and don’ts of social media as it relates to communications, marketing, public relations, and the practice of law.
The course will also feature a discussion of the Rules of Professional Conduct, which govern communications, with respect to social media. Powers will explain how attorneys can communicate a brand, build a niche, expand their networks, talk to the media, and grow their businesses while not running afoul of the Codes.
