Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) only recently exited my portfolio as an individual holding. It certainly was not due to doubts about their growth potential or attractions. Instead, I realised that my not insignificant passive portfolio also included a significantly larger exposure to the company than I had originally expected.
Combined with the fact that my Johnson & Johnson holding did not quite get the opportunity to reach full-size after its share price rocketed after my initial holding was opened (and the post-Brexit currency boost exaggerated my immediate profit), I decided to leave my Johnson & Johnson exposure to my passive portfolio for now.
