Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that partner Adam L. Fernandez presented on the topics of Mediation and Dispute Resolution on March 3, 2017 and the First Amendment and Cyberbullying on March 24, 2017 as a part of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Liberty & Law Civics Education Program in the Norristown Area School District. Both sessions took place in a sixth grade class at East Norriton Middle School. On March 3rd, the class discussed the key components of a successful mediation and students practiced playing the role of a mediator to resolve fictional disputes. On March 24th, the class reviewed the limitations on the freedom of speech in the context of bullying and cyberbullying. The Montgomery Bar Association’s Liberty & Law Civics Education Program brings volunteer lawyers and judges into middle school classrooms in the Norristown Area School District throughout the academic school year to educate area youth about the justice system, the Constitution, and the rights and laws affecting their lives every day.

Mr. Fernandez is a partner with the firm and he focuses his practice on structuring and implementing estate and tax planning strategies for individuals at every stage of life and closely held businesses, including business succession planning.Mr. Fernandez takes pride in structuring flexible estate plans that protect surviving spouses and minor and adult beneficiaries, including beneficiaries with special needs. His work includes assisting clients with all of the legal and tax aspects of the administration of decedents’ estates.While a large part of Mr. Fernandez’s practice is dedicated to estate planning and estate administration matters, his work includes assisting clients with all of the legal and tax aspects of the formation and operation of various business entities, including proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and joint ventures. In addition, he has substantial experience in negotiating and completing the purchase and sale of businesses, including asset purchases and sales, stock purchases and sales, real estate purchases and sales, corporate reorganizations, and other similar arrangements.A Dean’s Scholar at The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Fernandez received his undergraduate degree Phi Beta Kappa from Gettysburg College in 1998, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law in 2003.
