4/4/17

Keith Kushin has joined Grant Thornton LLP as a Corporate Finance principal within the firm’s Transaction Services Advisory practice. Based in Philadelphia, Kushin will be responsible for leading the firm’s national fairness-opinion offerings.

Kushin will apply his more than 16 years of corporate-finance experience to the firm’s transaction services advisory practice. In particular, he will bring to Grant Thornton a proven track record of objectively analyzing the financial aspects of proposed transactions, with the ultimate goal of protecting the interest of businesses and their stakeholders. His work has been provided to and relied upon by boards of directors, boards of trustees and regulators to facilitate transactions, demonstrate commercial reasonability of debt, support positions of fairness and solvency, and to provide guidance to state and federal regulatory agencies.

“Keith boasts a combination of leadership skills and deep valuation acumen – making him an ideal leader for our national fairness-opinions offerings,” said Jim Peko, national managing principal of Grant Thornton’s Transaction Services practice. “His extensive experience will not only be invaluable to our clients, but will also help drive the continued growth of the firm’s corporate-finance capabilities.”

Kushin joins Grant Thornton from Alvarez & Marsal where he was a leader in the transaction opinions practice and specialized in the valuation of businesses and business interests, including equity interests, liabilities and debt, options and derivatives, intellectual property, and other tangible and intangible assets.
