Patricia B. Miller

Nobel Learning Communities, Inc. (NLCI), a leading operator of private schools, including preschools, K-8 and high schools, today announced that it has promoted chief operating officer (COO) Patricia B. Miller to president. In her new role, she will oversee NLCI's more than 200 preschools and K-12 schools – located in 19 states and Washington, D.C. – as well as operations and marketing.

Miller joined NLCI as chief operating officer in January 2004. During her time as COO, she played a key role in increasing enrollment and profitability of NLCI's preschools, developed a strong field management organization and implemented professional development programs for school leadership. Additionally, she generated a parent-centered sales model, created an admissions call center and developed a new preschool design.

"Over the last 13 years, Patty has been instrumental in implementing practices and procedures to help tailor our sales approach and enhance our preschools," commented NLCI CEO, George Bernstein. "These successes and her tremendous ability to not only demonstrate, but inspire leadership made her the perfect fit to take on the role of president and oversee all Nobel Learning Communities schools."

NLCI's schools are known nationwide for their commitment to quality private education for preschool through 12th grade, through local learning communities that support the educational, enrichment and wellness needs of students and their families. At the preschool level, the company is known for its proprietary Links to Learning curriculum, which provides an integrated approach to early-age learning, and also connects parents to what their children are learning in school. NLCI provides strong support resources, including an Education Department, led by experts in preschool through 12th grade education. The company is accredited by AdvancED™.
