PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Longtime Board Member and current CFA Society of Detroit President, Sam G Huszczo, has been honored as Volunteer of the Year by the global CFA Institute. Over the past few months, presidents from all over the CFA Societies voted on the Volunteer of the Year. Our Detroit Society is thrilled to announce that out of the hundreds of candidates from all over the world, Mr Huszczo was voted as Volunteer of the Year by his peers. The CFA Institute Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes society leaders who have demonstrated exemplary results with in their society, the CFA Institute community, and beyond. This is an international award with CFA societies spanning the globe with over 130,000 members of the CFA Institute worldwide. The Volunteer of the Year is evaluated on the following categories: Leadership, Society Involvement, Strategic Achievements, Innovation, and Involvement Beyond the Society. It is then voted on by all the presiding Presidents of the CFA Societies. The CFA designation is considered the gold standard among financial professionals worldwide.
