Tropicana Entertainment (TPCA -0.6%) has acquired Atlantic City's Chelsea Hotel.
It will become the Chelsea Tower at Tropicana Atlantic City in a reopening in August, and be folded operationally into Tropicana Atlantic City, part of the gaming operations at Carl Icahn's Icahn Enterprises (NYSE:IEP).
The 20-story tower and an adjoining low-rise building holds 330 rooms, and will add on to the four existing hotel towers that Tropicana features.
