PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Zinc Recycling LLC announced today that it has named Rodrigo Daud as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Daud is a highly-respected international metals executive having most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Votorantim, a Brazil-based metals conglomerate, and Chairman of its wholly-owned Houston, TX-based subsidiary, U.S. Zinc. He also presently is serving a term as Chairman of the International Zinc Association. His appointment becomes effective July 17, 2017.

The Company also announced that Don Sheets has been appointed to the Board of Directors of AZR and also named as the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Sheets served as Vice Chairman of Dow Corning and previously held the position of Executive Vice President and CFO of Dow Corning Corporation. “AZR is fortunate to have Don join the Board and chair the Audit Committee. His vast experience in financial, business and commercial leadership roles is an asset that will benefit the Board and the Company going forward,” noted Isaacs.
