NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Job hunters in the New York metropolitan area will soon have new opportunities available thanks to Sprint (NYSE: S). Karen Paletta, Sprint’s region president for New York and New Jersey, announced a minimum of 300 jobs will be added throughout both states as a part of Sprint’s local retail expansion strategy.

“Adding team members and 64 stores to the New York metro area and New Jersey is incredibly significant to Sprint,” said Paletta. “It’s our single largest expansion in years and it’s only the beginning of our plans. We’re looking forward to bringing even more shopping experiences and services to customers across the area.”

Most roles will staff the 43 stores Sprint plans to open in the New York City, Long Island and the lower Hudson Valley and 21 stores across New Jersey this year. Residents interested in applying for open positions should visit www.sprint.com/jobs.
