Pramod Thota Named India Country President and Agricultural Solutions Business Director for FMC Corporation

FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC) today announced that Pramod Thota, business director for FMC Global Specialty Solutions, has been named India country president and Agricultural Solutions business director for FMC. Thota will assume the role during August from Pramod Karlekar, who has elected to leave FMC to pursue other opportunities. Thota will report to Bethwyn Todd, Asia Pacific regional president for FMC.

"Pramod's proven leadership skills, strong customer-focus and commercial acumen make him well qualified to lead FMC India," said Todd. "In addition, Pramod's strategic business focus will be put to good use as we develop and execute our growth strategy."

Thota joined FMC in 2012 as a director of strategy and development where he worked on acquisitions, strategy and global business development for FMC Agricultural Solutions. He has been director of Global Specialty Solutions since 2014 where he successfully led the business to new growth opportunities. Prior to FMC, Thota was a leader on growth strategies and merger and acquisition engagements for Booz & Company. He also served as a project manager for GES, Inc., an environmental consulting firm. Thota holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, as well as a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (India).
