NAI Hanson’s Scott Perkins Receives SIOR Award for Largest New Jersey Office Sale in 2016

Scott Perkins, SIOR, CCIM, Managing Director - Corporate Services of NAI James E. Hanson was the recipient of the 2016 Award for Largest Office Sale by the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) for his efforts in the sale of an 83,222-square-foot office building located at 216 Route 17N in Rochelle Park, N.J.

The buyer, Park Avenue BMW, was searching for a unique space that would allow them to expand their dealership’s showroom while leasing out a portion of the remaining space in the building. Representing the buyer, Perkins and his partner, Greg James, negotiated a deal at 216 Route 17N which provided them with the flexibility that met their needs for the space and allowed them to own additional floors of leasable office space.

“Park Avenue BMW’s unique property needs required the creativity and market knowledge exemplified by brokers holding the SIOR designation,” said Perkins. “I am proud to be a part of a great community of the best brokers in New Jersey and am honored to receive this award. Perkins has also received the Morris County Economic Development Corporation’s Real Estate Award and CoStar’s Power Broker Recognition in addition to being a member of the NAI Global Hall of Fame. He joins nine other brokers at NAI James E. Hanson who holdthe prestigious SIOR designation.
