Vitamin Shoppe: Is Now The Time To Buy?

Vitamin Shoppe (VSI) has huge operational problems, but if management can stabilize the company, shares are attractively valued right now. The company's shares dropped by more than a third to all-time lows after weak Q2 results. For investors who are not risk averse at all, the current share price could be an interesting entry point.

Vitamin Shoppe missed earnings estimates widely, for the top line as well as for the bottom line:

The company's revenues dropped by more than eight percent, whereas its earnings per share number came in about 40% lower than expected - and that was only the adjusted result.
