Alicia M. Sandoval

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP adds Alicia M. Sandoval to the firm’s Creditors' Rights, Bankruptcy and Financial Reorganization Department. She will be based in Obermayer’s Philadelphia office.

Sandoval represents businesses in need of restructuring, reorganization, and liquidation. Representations include secured creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy matters, including adversary proceedings, claim objections, stay relief motions, objections to Chapter 11 and 13 plans, loan workouts and analysis of regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the firm, she was an attorney at a Southern New Jersey Law firm in their bankruptcy and commercial litigation departments. Prior to that she was at a Philadelphia firm where she prosecuted and defended personal injury litigation, contract disputes, and workers compensation claims in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Sandoval is the firm’s sixth lateral hire this summer. Obermayer is focusing on growing in its outer offices as well as in targeted practice areas. Earlier this summer partner Andrew Kasmen and attorney Remi Schwartz started in the Conshohocken office. Kasmen focuses on real estate and corporate law and Schwartz is in the family law department. Additionally, partner Michael Hooper joined in the firm’s Pittsburgh office where he will focus his practice on commercial transactions and large mineral title projects. And finally, health law attorney Arielle Lusardi and litigation attorney Andrew Stoll started in the Philadelphia office. The firm plans to continue its steady growth.
