Datapipe Wins Gold Stevie Award for Company of the Year

8/30/17

JERSEY CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Datapipe, a leader in managed cloud services for the enterprise, today announced it was named the winner of two Stevie® Awards as part of the 14th Annual International Business Awards. Datapipe was recognized with a Gold Stevie Award for the Company of the Year, Computer Services, Medium-Size category as well as a Bronze Stevie Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year category. This recognition brings Datapipe’s cumulative Stevie Award wins to 28 and speaks to the company’s deep experience in meeting and exceeding the changing needs of the enterprise.

“Receiving our first Gold International Business Award, especially as Company of the Year, is a notable milestone for Datapipe,” said Richard Dolan, SVP Marketing, Datapipe. “Marking our 28th Stevie Award, this longstanding history of recognition speaks to our service innovation, best-in-class customer support, and dynamic global growth year after year.”

Datapipe’s Gold Stevie for Company of the Year is the result of several new partnerships, service offerings, and acquisitions that expanded the company’s presence worldwide to address the needs of an evolving market. In 2016, Datapipe announced support for Alibaba Cloud and was named one of only four Direct Cloud Solution Providers in Hong Kong by Microsoft. It also completed its acquisition of leading UK managed cloud services provider Adapt and opened its first Russian data center, both of which strengthened Datapipe’s European footprint. Datapipe also announced the beta program for Trebuchet®, providing developers with the toolset required to easily and continuously deploy, monitor, and secure applications in one, easy-to-use dashboard.

Datapipe’s Bronze Stevie for Customer Service Department of the Year was driven by its commitment to client-driven innovation and to staying at the front of a rapidly evolving industry. The introduction of its first data center in Russia provided customers with the ability to grow in the region, while complying with Russia’s data sovereignty laws. Datapipe also completed an SOC2 audit for the ongoing management of global AWS environments, becoming the only AWS MSP partner with global hybrid capabilities to do so among the original AWS Premier Partners. These developments underpin Datapipe’s commitment to providing customers with the best possible support and services worldwide, so that IT teams can focus on developing core strategic offerings.

“The IBA judges from across the world were highly impressed with the nominations they reviewed this year. With the level of achievement documented in the nominations from 60 nations, the Stevie Awards are proud to honor organizations that demonstrate a high level of achievement in a variety of industries,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.

The announcement follows Datapipe’s two recent wins from the Stevie Awards in the 15th Annual American Business Awards, including recognition in the Company of the Year and Customer Service Department of the Year categories. Datapipe was also recently awarded a Gold Stevie Award in the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for Innovation in Customer Service Management, along with a Bronze Stevie Award for Innovation in Business-to-Business Services. Other recent recognitions include Datapipe’s positioning as a Leader in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Hybrid Cloud Hosting, Europeand as a Leader in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure Managed Service Providers, Worldwide.
