Jeffrey B. McCarron is a partner in the Philadelphia office. He is the Chairperson of the Management Committee and is Chair of the Professional Liability Group of Swartz Campbell. Mr. McCarron is a Board Certified Professional Liability Attorney by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, as well as a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. McCarron has handled hundreds of trials, and he is a frequent lecturer and writer concerning professional liability issues, risk management for professionals, and litigation techniques and practice. Mr. McCarron is a former Co-Chair of the Professional Responsibility Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, former Co-Vice Chair of the Professional Liability Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the current Chair of the Professional Liability Committee of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. He is a member of the American Bar Association Committee on Professional Liability Litigation and Committee on Ethics and Professionalism.Mr. McCarron joined Swartz Campbell in 1990. He came to the firm from the Defender Association of Philadelphia where he handled major jury and non-jury criminal trials and other proceedings. A 1983 graduate of Hampshire College, Mr. McCarron earned his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1987.
