Liberty Property Trust today announced that Stephen C. Barone has been named vice president, program manager, directing the commercial real estate developer’s digital presence both internally and externally.

“Stephen brings more than 15 years of experience in IT and program management to our team, which will help propel Liberty’s digital presence forward,” said Chris Papa, executive vice president and CFO at Liberty. “Not only does he understand the technology, Stephen has in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate, enterprise systems, financial services and supply chain, making him an outstanding addition.”

Barone comes to Liberty from the global real estate firm Cushman and Wakefield. At Cushman, he served as the Technology Director, providing leadership and strategy to enterprise-wide systems including their CRM and content management platforms. Prior to Cushman, he spent 10 years with Aramark developing and implementing programs that supported Supply Chain Management.

Barone earned both a B.S. in Psychology and MBA in Finance, both from St. Joe’s University. He is a certified project management professional (PMP) and a member of the Society of Information Management’s Senior IT Leadership Group. He and his wife and two children reside in Wynnewood, Pa.
