SecValMSP to Acquire Stryker Technology Solutions

9/26/17

SecValMSP, the leader in Managed Security Services, is pleased to announce it will acquire Stryker Technology Solutions.

SecValMSP has already established themselves as the leading provider of Managed Security Services for hoteliers servicing the Managed Security needs of over 1700 hotels globally. "With the addition of Stryker Technology Solutions, SecValMSP can now provide a seamless end to end PCI Compliant solution for hoteliers worldwide," stated Dawn Bruno, President of SecValMSP.

"Acquiring Stryker made perfect sense," Bruno continued. "Managed Technology and Managed Security Services are converging at a rapid pace. Conventional break fix technology firms do not have the skill set, expertise or understanding required to adequately secure a property let alone an understanding of the PCI Controls. These firms are unable to effectively manage the ever changing and widening threat landscape. It makes perfect sense for a firm like SecValMSP to integrate system support, disaster recovery and business continuity along with desktop and server support using advanced security management tools already in place."

Bruno went on to say that, "Stryker has already positioned themselves as a leader in the Managed IT Support space. They are one of the few PCI Compliant IT support organizations having achieved Level 1 Compliance as a Service Provider earlier this year." In addition, Bruno continued, "Their commitment to the PCI Council, becoming a PCI Participating Organization is aligned squarely with the values and direction of SecValMSP."

Changes in the PCI requirements puts third party service providers in the cross-hairs for a merchant's own PCI Compliance filing. Using companies that are compliant gives the merchant a clearer path to compliance as well as a mechanism to share risk in the event a compromise takes place.

There are about fifteen controls that third party Managed IT firms are responsible for and where they are failing miserably. Merchants are just now understanding how these firms can adversely impact their compliance and how they jeopardize the security of the merchant's assets.

"SecValMSP plans to immediately merge Stryker Technology Solutions operations and expand the current support offerings." Customers will receive unparalleled service from SecValMSP's existing Operations Centers in Phoenix, Arizona and Montclair, New Jersey. "Our ability to scale will give customers a greater selection of products, higher level of service, more efficient Service Level Agreements and end to end visibility into the operations of the property," Bruno concluded.
