Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate announced the appointment of Rich DeNicola to Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, DeNicola will oversee all aspects of domestic and international business operations, including servicing, financial management, and brand oversight of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate's development strategy. He will transition into the role by year-end 2017. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Sherry Chris. Most recently, DeNicola has served as the Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales for Better Homes and Gardens Real estate since 2013. Under his leadership, approximately 60% of the current U.S.-based companies affiliated with the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchise. During his tenure, the brand also expanded into the Bahamas.

• Beyond his accomplishments as the Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales, DeNicola been a member of the brand's leadership team, influencing strategies, infrastructure and tools to serve the BHGRE network for the past four years.

• As Chief Operating Officer, DeNicola will apply his unique skill set, strong leadership capabilities, and industry expertise to fuel growth and profitability for companies within Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

• DeNicola's career in real estate began in 2004 when he joined Realogy, serving in a variety of roles within operations and development. DeNicola received his bachelor's degree in economics from Fairfield University and earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
