Roman Catholic High School Holds Annual Veteran’s Day Assembly

Roman Catholic High School will hold its annual Veteran’s Day Assembly on Thursday, November 9th from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in the school gym/auditorium located on the third floor. The event is organized every year by the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) student organization.

This year’s assembly is dedicated specifically to William Keenan, Class of 1967, who served in the Army.The assembly will also feature students and faculty reading biographiesabout various veterans from different conflicts in history. These readings reveal the personal sacrifice and commitment of those who have valiantly served our nation and preserved the freedoms we now enjoy.Roman Catholic High School has the distinction of having alumni who served in every major war since the Spanish American War to today.

Parents/guardians of current students that are veterans and active duty personnel, along with Roman alumni that are veterans, have been invited to attend. A small reception will take place after the ceremony for the guests.
