American Water's Industry-Leading Diversity Efforts Honored by Women's Forum of New York

VOORHEES, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly-traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, announced today that it was recognized by the Women’s Forum of New York for having more than 60 percent of its board seats held by women. Susan Story, president and CEO, of American Water accepted the award on behalf of the company at the 2017 Breakfast of Corporate Champions held on Nov. 14, 2017 in New York City.
