Jed Mayk, a partner in Hudson Cook LLP’s West Chester, Pennsylvania, office, will participate in October Research’s Regulatory Outlook 2018 Webinar, to be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on December 7, 2017. The webinar is sponsored by North American Title Insurance Company.

Mayk is one of three compliance attorneys presenting the webinar who will identify and discuss the regulatory and compliance concerns that will affect financial services companies next year. The speakers will also conduct a deep dive into regulatory and supervision trends related to issues such as Director Cordray’s exit from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, co-marketing arrangements under RESPA, and HMDA implementation, among others.

Mayk chairs Hudson Cook’s Mortgage Lending and Servicing Practice Group, and his practice focuses on state and federal consumer finance regulatory compliance for banks and non-bank consumer credit providers, with a particular emphasis on mortgage lending and servicing. He also advises clients on credit reporting, debt collection, unfair trade practice, privacy and data security, and electronic commerce laws and regulations. He is co-Editor in Chief of HouseLaw and a co-author of the RESPA/TIL Integrated Disclosures chapter of The Law of Truth in Lending. Mayk is also a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers.
