LG Electronics USA Leases Warehouse/Distribution Facility in East Windsor, NJ

JLL reps LG in leasing brand-new, 410,300-square-foot facility just one block from New Jersey Turnpike

JLL has completed a new transaction for LG Electronics USA at 159 Milford Road in East Windsor Township, N.J., with building owner Gateway Twin Rivers LLC. The company signed a five-year lease for the entire newly-constructed, Class A, 410,300-square-foot warehouse and distribution center.

Tenant LG was represented by Brian Golden, executive vice president; and Melissa Holland, senior vice president; both with JLL. The building owner, Gateway Twin Rivers, was represented by Mindy Lissner and William Waxman, executive vice presidents; Steven Beyda, first vice president; Dan McGovern and Robert Pine, vice presidents; and Kevin Dudley and David Gheriani, senior associates; all with CBRE Inc.

LG Electronics USA, the North American subsidiary of global innovator LG, opened the new home appliance distribution center for delivering its award-winning refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, washers and dryers to dealers. The company said the new distribution center will allow it to be more responsive to its East Coast customers and support the growth of LG home appliances in the region.The facility is expected to create 50 new jobs in East Windsor.

“LG Electronics had an immediate need for warehouse/distribution space in one of the tightest industrial submarkets in New Jersey,” saidGolden. “We were able to locate a brand-new, high-end facility that met all of the global electronics company’s needs.”

“JLL successfully completed the transaction within LG’s short time frame by combining the resources of its brokerage, supply chain and project and development services groups,” said Holland.

The newly-constructed warehouse and distribution facility is located on 28 acres and isjust one block from Exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike. The property is also close to routes 133, 33 and 130.The one-story facility features 40-foot ceiling heights, twomanually-operated rear dock doors and two drive-in doors, a 130-foot-deep trailer court, 74 trailer parking spaces and 362 parking spaces, with an option to expand the number of parking spaces. The building also offers robust power and lighting capabilities, as well as an ESFR fire protection system.
