Stradley Ronon attorneys Valentino DiGiorgio and Josh Shapiro will discuss the state and national political climate at "5 Days to Inauguration: The Future of Pennsylvania and National Policies & Politics" on Jan. 16 at The Hub Cira Centre. The presentation, moderated by veteran Philadelphia journalist Larry Kane, will feature analysis of the 2012 election and insight into how Pennsylvania businesses will be impacted by the new political landscape.
Both Mr. DiGiorgio, a Republican, and Mr. Shapiro, a Democrat, are well known in Pennsylvania politics. Mr. DiGiorgio serves as the chairman of the Chester County Republican Party and Mr. Shapiro is the chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.
Serving as co-chair of the firm's Banking and Financial Services group, Mr. DiGiorgio represents and advises banks, mortgage lenders and other non-depository institutions in connection with commercial lending, bank regulatory matters, federal and multistate compliance and licensing issues. Additionally, he is co-chair of the firm's Public Finance practice group and a member of the firm's Government Affairs practice group. Mr. Shapiro focuses his practice on general corporate work, real estate and regulatory compliance.
