For the last decade, Norris McLaughlin matrimonial attorney Amy L. Kruzel has been working to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). She began by joining the organization’s Team in Training, and today she is recognized as a top volunteer fundraiser and a mentor to other volunteers. Kruzel was recently selected to represent the Lehigh Valley Chapter of LLS as an All Star Candidate in the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign, a 10-week fundraising challenge that kicked off on March 31.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. One former Man and Woman of the Year candidate is chosen to represent their local market as the All Star Alumnus for that fiscal year. All Stars conduct their own campaign with their personal fundraising team. The male and female All Star who raises the most funds during the campaign are named the National Man & Woman of the Year All Stars in July.
